<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a background of many reggae garage bands and jam sessions with friends, I had to leave my hometown in 2009 due to professional reasons, and suddenly saw myself alone in a foreign country with no friends to jam around and make some good reggae music. This led me to start experimenting with home music production and I eventually realized that I could keep my musical ideas flowing regardless of having my band mates on the same city or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dub Quarter <\/strong>was created completely naturally, as an output stream for the ideas I was creating at home, using some basic gear and a computer. It is now an important part of my creative life, where I express new musical ideas, crazy lyrics and try to evolve as much as I can as a music producer. Dub Quarter is (and it will always be) essentially roots reggae and dub; however, I constantly borrow with no shame several other influences that are often around, such as rock, indie and electronic music, in order to create different atmospheres and some indeed original reggae music.<\/p>\n\n\n
